Probate and Estate Administration: I try to utilize non-probate or nominal probate techniques when possible, the firm does handle a variety of probate and trust estate matters, including Conservatorships & Guardianships Representation, Preparation of Probate Documents, Estate Settlement, Probate Document Filings, Asset Distribution to Beneficiaries, Tax Planning Litigation: The litigation services offered by the firm include: Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice, Evictions and Foreclosures, Collections, Bankruptcy, Minor Criminal Matters including DWI, Administrative Hearing including Motor Vehicle Matters, Univerisity Probation and Academic Matters. Business Law: The firm assists professional and business clients in creating business organizations (corporations, partnerships and sole proprietorships), meeting the annual meeting and minutes requirements, contracts, business planning and administration, negotiations, dispute resolutions, employee issues, succession planning and implementation and legal aspects of other business challenges and opportunities. Elder Law: Focuses on the potential problems of clients over age fifty. The elder law services include basic estate planning, management planning, long-term care counseling, and Medicaid planning, including eligibility requirements, and gifting rules and alternatives to long term care. Real Estate Transactions: The firm represents clients in commercial and residential real estate transactions including property purchases and sales, residential mortgages and refinances, title searches and bringdowns. Mediator: Andrew is a trained and certified mediator and is qualified to mediate all types of disputes with a variety of resolution techniques, including but not limited to, family law (separation, divorce and custody), end of life and long term care (assisting families to come to agreement on what should or has to be done), business (all aspects of resolving conflict that inevitably arise in conducting a business such as with suppliers, franchisers, employees and potential successors.) The goal of this aspect of Andrew’s practice is to obtain resolutions to conflicts and disputes faster and cheaper than could be obtained through litigation and to give the parties an opportunity to create or maintain a relationship on new basis.
